When my 35-year-old son was a baby he held his breath and passed out while another woman was holding him. I had abruptly left to deal with some mini-emergency and my son had been surprised and became angry that I would just leave him like that. The woman I left him with was not a total stranger to him, but it still ticked him off. The woman was quite unnerved by the experience.
